Any suggestions for wireless units?

I had a Nady system that was okay back in the day. I am looking for something with great sound quality and stability. Ease of use would be key also.

I picked up the Positive Grid Spark Link wireless a couple months ago and have had great results with it. Ridiculously low latency, easy to use, great price.

Yep for guitar.

The Postive Grid looks good. I am also looking at the NUX, Line 6 Relay, and Fender Telepath. My main focus is getting something with no interference and a strong signal. Also, multiple channels would be a must seeing my bass player is also going wireless probably using whatever I decide on.

The Positive Grid auto selects channels. The Line 6 relays are really good. I used a friend’s G50 for a while and had great experience with it. Of course the G50 has the traditional body pack as opposed to the bug format. I was about to get the G30, but then came across the Positive Grid unit.

i think the nux does as well, at least the one ive seen. the whole band uses em, but they turn em on and pair one at a time and seems to work ok?

We are only looking at them for a possible huge gig this summer on a very large stage. We will not have time to futz on stage with pairing wireless units or chance something goes wrong. We are going to have to walk on stage, strap on our guitars and start playing. Where is NegativeEase when you need him?

Well, auto select is supposed to choose a channel not used and best clarity. Without going top shelf like the Shure units AC/DC uses with auto select, not sure what else would be totally reliable there.

2.4 g and 5.8 g would have multiple conflicts with modern cellular and wifi routing

I just bought a Lekato 900mhz pair

Go with Shure wireless stuff. If its for a huge gig then dont compromise, otherwise safer to go wired cables

I'm using a Line 6 Relay G30. I wanted to have a standard cable and replaceable batteries. I'm using rechargeable AA, working for 4-5 hours.
Billy Sheehan used a (in fact two for stereo) Line 6 Relay G50 (or G55 I don't remember) for years and said he never had a single problem.
I watch Simon McBride (from Deep Purple) rig rundown yesterday, he's using a Shure GLX-D16.

Bug type wireless are prone to break since they are protruding from the guitar and the rechargeable built-in battery cannot be replaced (at least those I looked at).

That checks most of the boxes. Is the base unit 9 volt or something I can power with my power supply? Or does it have a dedicated cable?

^I have that Boss unit. It sounds great. But sometimes I go to use mine after it has been on the charger for 2 days, and for some reason, it didn't charge. That's fun.
