Any thoughts on the Marshamps.com kits?

A friend of mine and I are talking about building a tube amp together this summer. Through some googling I ended up on Marsh Amps' website. I'm probably going for a Fender copy, most likely a Super Reverb, as I really love the silverface SR we have at the place where I used to teach and rehearse ages ago. Anyway, my questions are as follows:

1) Does anyone know if Marsh Amps' kits are any good?

2) Also, does anyone have any tips on other sites that have equally good or preferably better kits?

Price is really not that important, as long as it stays under $2000. The most important aspects are quality and that we actually get to build the amp and do some proper soldering.

I've seen a few places that have Marshall clones, most notably a PLEXI/JTM. I haven't tried/seen/heard one. The can be pretty expensive in price. Check out marshallampforums.com they should be able to give youa good answer

Marsh Amps have a few fairly well priced Marshall kits. If I remember correctly, they've got a Bluesbreaker combo, some 18 watt Marshall style head and a 100 watt Plexi.

I'm more interested in making a Fender as of right now, though. I may make a Plexi some years down the line.
