Any Vox-like pedals out there?

There are plenty of pedals that make the Marshall british sound, but how about a Vox sound? Any Vox in a box type pedals?

Well, the Carl Martin AC-tone is one I am told. I do not own one, but have been looking a bit at it. There is another by Vox itself, and another by another company I stumbled onto today but I do not recall who it was now.

I think there was a pedal called "top boost in a can" but I cant remember who made it. I'll look around and report back.

There was the Vox Valvetone,but it's really just another Tube Screamer copy clone...Then there's the pretty recent series..

The fairly new Vox Cooltron pedals - probably the Brit Boost, give a pretty vox-ish tone

It was a Menatone but I dont think it's made anymore. Vox makes the "over the top boost" pedal also.

I'd really like to test-drive the AC-Tone. I'm rather fond of Vox amps.

Maybe I should have Scott build a Vox clone.

If our buddy RID's AC Tone is as good as the Plexitone,it would be a phenomenal pedal to have! I can surely speak for the Plexitone!
