Anybody here ever play a Jackson Phil Collen?

So I saw the Leps the other night. Phil Collen went through a slew of his signature PC models, and even played a Soloist. But it was the incredible finishes and great sound (if you're into that modern compressed-sounding sugary sweet sound - which I do kinda like) of those PC models that I couldn't get over. Deep quilted maple tops that you could see even from 30 feet away. Wicked a$$ harmonics to boot. I know it's also in the 30 gagillion-dollar rig he's using, but still...

Anyone play any of these? How does the Jackson sustainer pickup work? How much are these on the street?

Isn't it a fernandes sustainer?
It works like an ebow - but only on all strings. It puts out a very fast oscillating magnetic field that forces the strings to keep swinging and provides endless sustain. well as long as your batteries last...
