Anybody know good Iron Maiden amp settings?

If you know of any members of Iron Maiden's amp settings, I would appreciate hearing those. I have a Marshall JMP-1, which I know they use, so if you could tell me in terms of the JMP-1 I would appreciate it.

Set everything at 5, tweak to your liking. Get your own tone, you'll be much more satisfied.

push mids at least to 8, keep the bass and hights at neutral (4-5). they aint that hard to nail. just tweak left and right and you'll get it

He's referring the the "Marshall Law" magazine, i believe.

But as a side note the settings on a JMP1 aren't going to sound the same number wise if you apply them to an identical rig, because theres more then just preamp tones at work there. My approach for this is to dial in a basic approxmation of whatever I'm going for and try to get that sound purely by running the controls through their full range and when i find that spot just making a note of what the number happens to be and leaving it at that. I can usually get a good Maidenesque tone out of my POD using the JCM800 model with an overdrive boost and the controls set Bass - 6, mids - 9, treble - 8 or somewhere around there.

Modern. I have an American strat with Hot Rails and JB. Jr's and I have their pre/poweramps..... so that is what I'm going for, BNW/DOD/RIR tone.

For POM, Powerslave, SWIT, 7th Son I tend to push the Mids to the max ... can't have Maiden without the mids

I love it, it's very pleasant to look at. Haha, I am still about $900 away from a cab, I can't wait for Christmas. Got an 8 space rack but forgot to bid on a PL-8 that a guy in Duluth was selling, I could've gotten free shipping by picking it up. :smack: But oh well, cab and conditioner are all I need, besides a drawer...
