Anybody own a Telecaster Body with angled neck?

I was thinking about what I want in a guitar. this is what I've come up with :
Telecaster body because it is light but it just feels fine as my right arm drapes over to play. I would like an angled neck (similar to a Les Paul) so that my left arm (fretting hand) is not so far forward that my shoulder is pushed fontwards . Along with this I think a Tune-O-matic bridge is what is needed for an angle neck to work.

Does anybody have any thing like this? I've read that Seymour Duncan himself has a telecaster that is pretty well customized , maybe somewhat like this.

Well I have an angles headstock but not the neck. I used to work at a shop that handled lots of highend ESP stuff and I remember an ESP setneck Tele that had a tuneomatic and an angled neck that was a smokin guitar, more a metal axe but still smokin.

The Schecter PT Blackjack has an angled joint, but it's hardly what I'd call a telecaster.

I have a "carved T-Top" body with an angled neck pocket from USA Custom Guitars, but haven't done anything more with the project after buying all of the parts.

There are a couple of things to think about with a Tele-style body and an angled neck pocket. At least if you're picky about how it looks. If you have a flat top, then a 22-fret fingerboard will angle up and away from the top. A 21-fret neck might look better because it wouldn't have the extension beyond the butt of the neck. Also, looking at the neck from the side, you will see the butt of the neck angling out of the neck pocket. IMHO a properly carved top with an angled neck pocket should look fine. However, USACG's body is designed for a "normal" neck pocket. They offer the option, but it doesn't come together quite right to my eyes.

This is not to say it can't be done right!

Thanks for the ideas guys. I hadn't thought yet about how it will look but now that I think about that I can imagine it might be a bit "weird" not that it's a bad thing but just something to keep in mind.
I also don't mind that there is an ESP that is more of a metal axe. That could be cool! I'll check out the PT Blackjack, too

Re: Anybody own a Telecaster Body with angled neck?

I just got a Squier Master Series chambered Telecaster that has an angled neck like a Les Paul and a Stop Tailpiece/ TOM bridge. It also has "Duncan-Designed" humbuckers.

It was an open-box deal for $287 - they usually sell for $399 from MF and Music123. I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep it - my 45 days aren't up yet, but it was so cheap I had to try it.
