Anybody try a JB in a maple body guitar?

Has anyone tried a JB in a maple-bodied guitar (superstrat type)? Just curious as to what it sounds like. I had JB in a mahogany Hamer Chapparal years ago (w/Floyd) and it was great, but being that maple is a bright sounding wood I'm wondering if the JB will be a little too trebly.

Thanks

I have a Demon in a maple bodied guitar and it rules all!!! Lower output, but such a nice balance, great harmonic overtones, and crystal clear!!

I could have let you know how it sounds in a maple-capped body (Legacy Deluxe) but I lost the friggin' bidding last night in the last few seconds so I guess I can't. (Can you hear my frustration? LOL)

I have a JB in a Washburn Falcon (which is mostly maple). It's bright, but manageable. I like it. Split, it sounds like a Tele.

I'd put a CC in there, since it's one of the thickest warmest pickups. It'll balance out the sharp attack of maple with it's buttery top end and nice mids.

I have the JB in an all-maple guitar, though not Super-Strat style. It's a bolt-on thing with a single HB pup and TOM/STP setup, and it works great. The higher output of the JB kind of compresses the high end, so the guitar is far from shrill.
