Anybody try Rotosound Guitar strings?

I LOVE their bass strings, but have not tried their guitar strings...I have had a hard time lately finding my normal strings so I have been trying several other barnds...so far, I hate most of them.

Re: Anybody try Rotosound Guitar strings?

i agree, lots of string brands are quite crappy.

my dad's been using roto sound strings for his bass for almost 20 years. He plays tuesday-saturday 6pm-12 and they last him forever. I would also be interested in trying these out for guitar.

I had Rotosounds in my strat , then i witched to ernie ball
an i can't wait till i get my new rotos :)
That strings are marvelous soft and silky in touch and foremost the tone is round, warm and for me "just perfect"
ernie balls are MUCH brighter and "steelier" not for me....

Re: Anybody try Rotosound Guitar strings?

I've used their 9-42s, 9-46s and 10-46s.

They were absolutely phenomenal. They felt very loose for their gauge, lasted forever and had a great tone. They sounded almost like pure nickel strings, but they were the usual steel-nickel alloy. Plus they came with two 1st if I recall correctly.

Try them, you won't regret it.

Re: Anybody try Rotosound Guitar strings?

i'm a diehard D'addario XL user but i've had an odd itch to try some SIT strings...i have NO IDEA why.

as for rotosound those and SIT are of the few brands i haven't tried yet.

a few years ago i bought a pack of nearly every brand i could get my hands on in the same gauge and tested them all. that's how i ended up going from EB to D'Addario now for the past 7 years or so.

anyway, i'm of no help since you picked the one brand i never tried LOL.
