Depends what you're after, and position you are installing it.
But in general, the air norton s is pretty close to the full sized one in that it is warmer for the neck position, and middier for the bridge.
The demons are more scooped sounding and therefore brighter overall in any position.
I really like the air norton s as a neck pickup in 24 fret guitars. It's muddy in 22 fretters. In the bridge it's similartothe norton, but lower output.
