Anyone ever seen this CL post before? Goodness.....

Re: Anyone ever seen this CL post before? Goodness.....

Jesus!!!

Seems kinda odd that it's listed in Santa Barbara, but seller's address is in Kansas?

Some very kewl stuff,for sure,tho!

Re: Anyone ever seen this CL post before? Goodness.....

I lost it with the rack gear. Holy **** that's a lot of stuff. Looks crazy redundant.

Re: Anyone ever seen this CL post before? Goodness.....

It looks like a lot of the rack gear is early 90's digital stuff, which is not so good, and not very valuable these days. The amps are certainly worth more.

That should be in his kitchen.

after reading your post.. i took a closer look... the magenta art work on some caught my eye.. ART stuff from the early 90's
such as this

edit>> now adays the sgx goes for 150 to 200.. i paid 200 at a pawnshop as nostalgia is a b*tch and i had to have it.. paid like 45 or 60 for the multiverb..

EVEN got a ultrafoot,, dude on my FB showed a pic of his gear.. i mentioned how i liked it.. he offered it to me for free but i covered shipping of like $25.. the catch.. it needed work and no adapter.. i fixed it and found an adapter.. was a good day because ppl are asking stupid money for this midi pedal

The Ultrafoot (I had one) is a really, really basic midi pedal. The pedals themselves only send program change messages on 1 channel. Also, the expression pedals move in steps, not smooth graduations. Midi pedals these days are light years better.

Re: Anyone ever seen this CL post before? Goodness.....

If I were shopping, I'd take all the Marshalls, blackface Bassman head, the SRV strat, Ibanez Vai Jem, Rhoads Concorde replica, Gibson Custom Shop V, and Firebird.

He can keep the dead gear. LOL

this i know but that is also irrelevant to me.. AS i had the sgx 2000.. and i wanted the pedal it was designed for... not like the pedal cost me alot..$25 bucks for a pedal is pretty cheap + the hour or so it took to fix it..hell the sgx is dated but i still spent money on it.. not to play.. but to have as a part of the past..

on a side note.. the pedal does work for my PC MIDI interface too..sorta surprised as there is a large tech gap between the too

been meaning to mod the pedal to use a battery as finding a place to plug in an adapter is hard at times lol.. not really that hard to do but getting the motivation to do so is

I don't think people realize that bundling, especially at higher price points, is rarely a good selling strategy.

Ran across it just the other day on CL. Just picked up a wonderful yellowed 10 lb. Ebony Board '91 LP Studio from local Gtr Ctr where a similar thing happened with some one bringing in a dozen guitars (several various Gibbys, an SRV Signature, etc.) and a dozen amps (classic and boutique combos) and simply liquidating the estate.

Ask him if he'd trade it all for a slightly used Xbox with two controllers.

Make that two slightly used xbox's and four controllers... we can split the entire rig.

[SUP][/SUP]Love the original Jackson Rhoads! The pointy Kramer with the Invader looks fun too!!

Re: Anyone ever seen this CL post before? Goodness.....

He's from Kansas? Can't help but wonder if it's somebody like Kerry Livgren.

Kerry Livgren recently moved back to Kansas from Atlanta (supposedly due to health issues) but something tells me he wouldn't be lumping all of it in a single package...and listing it in California. lol

I could see a high end music store making an offer, but kinda weird to ask for trades for autos and boats...
