Anyone ever split a Demon?

I'm putting one in an alder body/maple necked strat. How does it compare to a JB (love the JB split)?

I have a Demon in my Gibson SG X that splits. The best way I can describe it's sound is "Evil Creedence". Its very dark and twangy in my mahogany SG when its clean and pushed its got a wicked dirty tone.

Can't compare it to the JB, never had one.
