Anyone ever try the Vox Valvetronix AD120VTX

I have a chance to pick one up at a really good price. I played it at this dudes house and thought it was pretty decent, but playing it out is another story. It comes with the VS12 pedal and is in mint condition. $650.00. I could buy to sell but its not worth the trouble. I'd hope to get a little use out of it.
