Anyone ever used 1 of these pedalboards?

Re: Anyone ever used 1 of these pedalboards?

I've ordered 1 of these today, so I'll find out for myself what they're like :D

Hey guys. I'm looking for a new pedalboard and I came across this http://www.ehx.com/ehx2/Default.asp?q=f&f=/Catalog/39_Pedal_Bag
It sells here for about £30 whereas for me to have a pedalboard built i'd be looking at spending about £80 minimum. Does anyone here have any experience with the Electro Harmonix Pedal Board? Thanx for any opinions guys. Craig

I use a Boss ME50, so mine's already "packaged". It's an all-knobs multieffects board.

go to e-bay.. there are some no-brand pedalsboards running for like 30 dollars with extremely high shipping though (like 20 bucks for a small item).. it'll run you 50 dollars for a good, powered velcro pedalboard

I've been using one for about a year, before that I had a regular wooden pedalboard. I really like the EHX bag more for it's light weight and that you can actually carry it nicely on your shoulder :amish:

Thanx for the posts guys :)

As I ordered it yesterday, I should get it within the next few days. So I'll probably post pics when I've got it all wired up etc.

The other guitarist in my Glam Rock band uses 1 of those. I've never been a big fan of multi FX myself (I like to tweak during gigs :) ) but he loves his :)

I'd be interested to see how it measures up. I'd like to get a pedal board, but can't help thinking that if I'm going to spend £80+ that I'm better off buying another pedal!! ;)

That's the way I think mate ;)

I think the EH Pedal Bag will suit me just fine unless my bands starts touring or gigging heavier :)

I'll post pics and my opinion of it when it arrives.

if you have access to wood shop you can build a basic simple one like i did to fit all your pedals depending on the wood it can pretty cheap screw a power bar on it aswell you're good to go

Here's mine IMG-20131104-00022.jpg

Re: Anyone ever used 1 of these pedalboards?

look forward to your review! Id like to get a proper board. I built a fully enclosed box with a removable lid as I couldnt find any quick release hinges, so I had to build it a way I wasnt fully happy with. I made the front hinged where it would fold down and the panel with pedals was removable. was pretty cool, but heavy as all get out. Ive since pared down my pedals, and built a smaller board more like steps, but the wiring underneath is kinda unruly. most of the proper boards out there are out of my price range since Im not gigging and very broke

Re: Anyone ever used 1 of these pedalboards?

I don't use the Electro Harmonix one. I use the RoadRunner, but yes I do. It's not bad. It's light, big enough to fit my 5 pedals, small enough to not look like a complete geek with my ****.

Re: Anyone ever used 1 of these pedalboards?

I made mine from an old shelf some paint a drill and a box to
Keep it in. Works fine and it was cheaper then anything I was able to find. Most man made boards get pricey
