Anyone every buy from "Roadstar ii" ?

I bought a guitar from him on 9/6/07, still never received it, still no return PMs, no e-mail available for him either.

This guitar is going to be a christmas present, I need it!!!

I mean, I hope something didn't happen to the guy, last I spoke to him he had the money and was going to ship ASAP, and was also in the process of moving. Just wondering if anyone has any contact info or anything. I would send a letter if I still had the address. At this point I am not angry anymore, I just want either the guitar or the $ back.

Doesnt sound good. At this point I would start getting angry. VERY angry.
Ive got a siatuation froma guy calld DotNetTim. He hasnt answered my emails , but its only been about 10 days. Im starting to get concerned, although Im not willing to call the dude a flake yet cause I know he has some issues.But comon..early September? I think youve probably been taken.

Ohh beleive me I was extremely angry after a month and up until recently. But stressing out about it wasn't getting me anywhere, I sent 10-15 PMs over the course of the soon to be 3 months and I honestly do feel like I've been taken here, but he seemed like a good user and had a decent number of posts, I think like 500 or so, so there is a little establisment there.

Yeah not much you can do...

someone here has had my Vintage G-400 with JB amnd SKB hardshell for 1.5 years for a new nut and fret dress...

and now they don't respond to messages and emails and when they do all I get are promises...

So instead of naming names and moping...I just wait and pray they get around to taking it to a shipper and it might someday show up on my doorstep...

I hope you see it in time for X-mas however...good luck and I hope he is well.

it is way past the time where you call the police. you have been a victim of fraud. do not hesitate if you paid by paypall cont act paypal. if you mailed money call the police in his neighborhood.

I sent a money order from my bank, but I lost his address that was jotted down on a piece of paper, don't have the original message, if I had it, I would call the 5-0.

I agree with the moving thing, but a U.S. Postal Money Order is usually insured isn't it? I would try to get the P.O. to do something about it, provided it's not a m.o. from one of the fly-by-night grocery store types.

It was a money order from my bank. I doubt there's any kind of insurance for it, like "ohh I bought this guitar 3 months ago and didn't get it."

Since it is a bank money oerder it may still be federally insured, like a P.O. money order.
I would check with the bank to see. Federal fraud charges are nothing to laugh at, and if the bank gets in touch with him and lets him know, he may get off his keister and deliver up the goods.

Sorry for what's happening to you , Roadstar II is also member of the forum "jemsite" where he post at "pickup and wiring" .
Ask at this forum for his adress ... ?

Jemsite: on performing a search by user says Invalid user name.

I will have to check with the bank on that. But I don't remember having to list his address on it, just his name who it is made out to.

I traded pups with him a while ago. He complained of being taken by somebody on a pup swap before me. I agreed to ship my pup first only because I don't really post much on here, but I AM an honest guy. I asked him for a phone number and his address (which he gave me, but I've since deleted)... Anyway, he sent me an email saying he received my pup and it was in great condition yada, yada, yada..... About a week went by an nothing. I sent him an email or two and no response. Now, I'm starting to get pissed. I HAD his number, so I called him....his dad answered! He finally came to the phone and explained that his computer was down and he could only get on this site at work when his boss wasn't around. The pickup came in the mail the day I called him! It took maybe a week and 3 days. So, that was my experience with him. I wouldn't say he's a dishonest guy, but if you can track him down by phone or address....that'd be the best way to get him.
