Anyone familiar with these pickups?

I recently bought a loaded Charvei Jackson Wamoth body but I don't know anything about the pickups. There is an 8K single coil neck pup with a logo and a 15K + humbucker with 2 rows of slugs - there is a sticker on the back that reads J-90C.
Any information would be good!

The J90C is a jackson made ceramic humbucker. I believe it's the same one that came stock on dave mustaine KV pros even though he installed JBs on all his

Thanks for that - anyone actually used these pickups? Are they worth keeping? What do they sound like? I see them on ebay at various prices...

That's depends on whether you like them or not, it's probably closest to a distortion, so if you like that you'll probably like this too

Anyone familiar with these pickups?

I have a J90C in my parts drawer, right now. I had it in an old (1989) Jackson, but it was a bit hot and grainy sounding in that guitar for me. To me, it's a good pickup for a high output pickup, but it needs to find a home in a warmer, to almost dark sounding, guitar.

To me, the J95 is a more versatile pickup from Jackson, but I believe fewer were made and it is much harder to find.

I'll put the bucker up for sale on the trading post one day soon and see if anyone is interested! Meanwhile thanks for all the info��

As prev mentioned those were the Jackson pickups. They came stock in most of the model series guitars. Some guys left them I always found them alittle bland.
