Anyone have any experence with rio grande tele pickups?

Last thread got going in the wrong direction, I dont want a damn humbucker in my tele.


Anyway, I was wanting to know, for a warm (but not distorted) and twangy tone, thats suitable for rockabilly on cleans, but good for woodstock style rock on overdrive, would the tallboy set or half breed set be better? or possibly even the muy grande?


No, im not interested in seymour duncan's, emg's, dimarzio's, fender's, tom anderson's, bare knuckle's, or anything else.

I hope this doesn't sound rude, but have you tried the rio grande forum? You might find more people with experience with their pickups.

yea, i did, last time someone posted was last week, and b4 that guy posted, the last post was back in july...
