I've been looking at these for live use for monitoring.
Going by the specs the irtx seems to cover a broader range although not by much than the LFR. The LFR does have a 12" driver compared to the 8" one in the irtx. My gut feeling says that it might be an improvement soundwise but since both are frfr type, i doubt it might not leap & bounds apart.
The IRTX is far more portable on stage whereas the LFR is more or less the size of a 112 cab. That along with the additional in/out features makes it very appealing for me. Price is also on the lower side.
I havent tried either, should be able to check out the IRTX maybe if the local store gets one wont be buying these blind thats for sure.
I would still like to hear from anyone about using these live. I intend to use tech21 character pefals through it for amp sim.
So if anyone has one of these or upgraded to the lfr112 from the irtx, would lke to share any inputs.
