Anyone here own a DS-2?

I've been inspired by some posts here to get into modding pedals. I've got a DS-2 on the way I got for real cheap. Seeing as I don't quite have the most nuanced ears yet, I was hoping some of you guys would tell me some of the short comings of the pedal on both channels in your minds?

1 is a slightly less open DS-1. I think it is supposed to be the same, but most say it's a bit darker.
2 adds a big mid-boost that some only like for leads. I prefer 2 for everything.

It was my first pedal and I recently rebought one.

The first channel is better used like the DS-1 to push a hot amp, the second with the mid boost is great for sustaining solos. I use it like I would use a muff.

if you want mod ideas I think there are a couple in the Wampler book I can look for.

I had one for a few years. The regular side worked great for pushing a bright amp that's breaking up. The turbo side I didn't use very much . . . I remember it being very compressed.
