Anyone know about Gretsch 3135 or 3141?

My local guitar shop sells Gretsch hollowbody guitars... most are priced about $1500 and up and have product numbers that can be found on Gretsch's website. However, they have 2 Gretsches (one with product number 3135 and the other with 3141). They are selling for $850 dollars each (note the 3135 is used)? The store keeper was a big vague on details concerning the guitars... he thought the biggest difference was that these 2 guitars were part of a line of Gretsch that were produced in Korea rather than Japan.

So, can anyone add insight?

Any satisfied Gretschers out there that would like throw any input into this deal?

Thanks,
TA

My drummer recently bought a Gretsch Duo Jet made in Korea (in silver sparkle, Yummy!). It's a very nice guitar, but like all Gretsches, their electronics/switching system is kind of counter intuitive (for me at least). Also, the pickups don't have that cool Gretsch snap, but calling TV Jones ($125 each pickup, kinda pricey for me) would solve that very nicely.
