Does anyone have experience of these combinations (especially alternative wood sg types) - I would like to build a strattyish sounding sg, but I don't know what wood to go for.
All info would be greatly appreciated!

Well, it's likely to upset one or two people, but I really don't like fender necks and bodies, I love the sound that strats make, but I loathe playing them, hence the project.
