Anyone tried the new fender champion 600?

I'm considering trading my AD30VT in on one since I can't stand it.

I figure it would make a nice practice/recording amp and something that would be nice for actually being able to take some where. Maybe even a good amp to mod.


Anyone tried one? Opinions; comments?

How much are they where you live? If its that two tone new amp I'm remembering, it's a stunning good looker, but only about 4-6 watts, right?

Yea, single 6V6. Only downside is a 6inch speaker but I'll have to try one out to see if that's much of a downside or not.

Are these amps PCB?

I think the originals were the predacessors to the Champs.

I'd think at the 200 dollar price point, they'd be on the typical fender PCB stuff. I'll have to try one some day.

There are clips over at the Harmony Central FX forums, and they're not that great. But that could be the guy making the clips. I want this to sound great.

What do you mean "not that great?"

They sound pretty damn good to me, especially for $200! That would be perfect for my ric to get some nice jangly chime.
