I saw them listed on the Avatar site, but didn't know they were made by Celestion.
I'm thinking of buying a G12H30, but those Hellatones caught my eye too. I'd sure like to hear from someone who bought one though.

I'm having a custom marhall 18 watt clone 1x12 combo built up using the hellatone speaker - I'll let you know what I think once I get it (about a week or so) - I'm going to take the amp down to Wild West Guitars and run the amp through a 1x12 marshall cabinet with the aged celestion - I'm very interested in hearing the difference.

I asked Dave about them, and here's his email:
"HI Gary....
yes, matchless has done the same thing by taking great celestions...performing some kind of voodoo on them like we do , then sell them with their label on the back....we do that with the G12H30s....which is our HT30 and the Vintage 30 which is our HT 60....they sound great....there are reviews inharmony-central.com or you can do a search for hellatone
at HC or thegearpage.net check those out and let me know if you need

V30's need to be broken in to sound best, basically Dave is breaking them in before you buy them, then slapping a new label on them; and they do sound different (better).
