In general, I really like VHT. It is as good as any high-end boutique stuff out there. The clean channel won't be confused with a Fender or Matchless but most people don't buy a VHT CL to play jazz. The 50 and 100CL compete head to head with the Bogner Uberschall.
I thought the VHT had good tone certainly better than most and I hear the reliability is good meaning they are built well. I found I liked it cranked up a bit to realy get its great musical clip tone so it can be a little loud to realy get the most out of it-at least above 3 1/2 to realy start hiting its good tones. :beerchug:RGN said:I have tried one and own a 100CL.
