anyone using a super champ xd in a gigging environment?

I just got one really cheap because no sound is coming out although it powers up normally. I think it's probably just a bad tube. Curious about experience with this little amp.

I don't use it for gigging, but I keep one in my office at work as a practice amp. (I work with a lot of musicians, so spontaneous office jams are a weekly occurrence.) It is a really nice sounding amp, and it is very convenient to have some on-board fx available. You would definitely need to mic it for live use.

Have played one in a jam room with a different cab was decently loud but a mic to gig would be best route.

Depends on the band I guess but I don't think its quite big enough. I really love it for home practice and can easily be too loud for that.
