A. Remove the 2 bar magnets on the side or
B. Use a lower value volume pot.
It'll still have plenty of meat to it, like a Duncan Distortion somewhat.
Honestly though, I got a really good "Master of Puppets" era Metallica sound by removing the two smaller magnets!
Says a lot about it! :laugh2: BTW, I might as well add a tip about about the pup. On clean it have a tendancy to actually clip at the input stage of the amp. If this happens and you want a better clean tone, you can:big_black said:

High mids. Very abrasive, hot as f*ck pickup. It's excellent for metal, and would sound great with boosted mids. Pick squeals are really easy.

the studs are Originals and i got it together with the bridge that i bought new but never used in fact cause i sold my les paul without playing it too much.
i just don´t have the SLOTS. they´re carved on the les paul i sold
