I think that'll go for at least $240 or so. Maybe not. I very well might throw a bid in the pot! I've got about $280 to spend at the moment so we'll see. Shipping is expensive though ($60)!!!

wow, that is one of the most recorded amps in the Peavey line, that looks like the legend there; what a steal!

Has a solid state pre-amp with a tube poweramp.

They're slightly muddy distorted but they sound great clean.

Ah, thanks. Its in Florida too. If it wasn't for the fact that I just bought a Hughes & Kettner Edition Blu 60, I'd be so on top of this. I'm still thinking. ;)

I'm still planning on bidding for sure. I hope none of you guys are going to really drive up my price. My max bid might go to like $180, ust so you guys know.

Oh man...That was my first amp! WIsh I had it now that I know what to do with it and how to take care of it. Did you get the footswitch? The tremolo on that thing is awesome!

I don't think it came with a footswitch. But for $154, I really don't care! That's just an insane price.

I'll see what I can do about clips. Read: I can't get them, because I have no mic. :)

So what does anyone think about this amp? Anybody know anything about it? It's old, but I think it'll be pretty decent.

cool man. that looks almost exactly like mine. except mine is a vt series, whatever the hell that means. it also has that weird but cool effects pedal thing with the phaser on it.

So Mephis, what do you think of your Classic 50? I'm imagining it's not a 1974 (old - hopefully not bad!!) but how is yours?
