APH-1 Rotation

Agreed. :-)

I think that my post 12 was taking in account your experience by trying to explain it.

And the end of this post was just meant to explain the reasons behind my own previous statements - although reading it again made me realize it doesn't sound like that. :-/

It would be great if the tone of our voice was there to convey the intention and mood behind our posts. All we have are emoticons... ;-)

I find it very difficult to express context in written word

I am in awe of great writers who seem to have no issue with this at all

My daughter has this thing about texting
And quite often misreads my intent
which turns into hurt feelings and cold stares

I skipped all the scientists here, sorry. Here my two cents: I have the A2P neck and flipped as you ask, just because IN MY MIND the slug coils should have a better single coil tone as their shape reminds me a Fender single coil and being closer to the neck should should be even better for that when split. All I can say is I have a great quack when split and combined with SSL-6, the best I ever had so far using HSH configuration, but maybe it is just the A2 having more mids and less treble that helps fight against the usually thin and weak split humbucker sound.

Edit: I just read the post from Mincer, probably I can put it back with screws closer to the neck but this backwards thing also allows me to keep the wirking the same as the diagrams in the website and still get the split coil closer to the neck.
