aph-1b in a strat?

I'm currently using an ssh strat, alder body/maple neck and just happened to have an aph-1 lying around...

the guitar's currently equipped with a tone zone in the bridge with the tone knob bypassed. I love the sizzle it gives but feels too bright and gainy for me.

I plan on popping the aph-1 in and wire it with the tone knob. Anyone's tried it and have an idea of how it would sound? thanks.

It's like a poor man's '78. Fluid and bold, slightly creamy yet edge. Yet. I prefer it in the neck position of a strat.

Tried once. Very thin in strat bridge. Sounded like opening riff of Sweet Home Alabama.
