I like both of them. Here's a soundclip comparison I did of them a few years ago so people could hear the difference.

Thanks. Those are in two different Epiphone Les Pauls. What guitar are you playing?
Nice clip by the way!
TWo questions:
#1 What do you plan on playing with this guitar?
#2 How does the neck position of the guitar sound in general?
Played/owened them both - own a few neck PG's currently. Might recommend either depending...
1)Classic Rock=Led Zep,Aerosmith.ZZ top,Bluesy impros
2)Weak and dull,am also considering not to have a neck pup ,just 2 bridges
My gear=Epi lp std+LINE 5 spider 4,I will replace it with a class 5
Can i replace the neck pickup with a bridge and do coil tap or roll the volume back? Will it be the same?
Yes, you can do it, but a bridge PU will be wound hotter, and will be a little darker in the neck slot. Is that what you want?
You misspelled Seth, theres no P, but yes that's what you want...
(kidding! but just letting you know u might, like luv em, omg!)
I'm with Aceman on this, especially if you think your pickups are dull. I'd try the PG neck.
To answer your question as to why the bridge pickup will sound darker; bridge pickups in modern sets are a bit hotter than the neck pickup. This is done to make up for the difference in output and tone between pickups. For our purpose, a pickup wound hotter will generally sound darker.
But it will be pretty much the same if it gets adjust correctly as a bridge?
Not sure what you mean, explain.
