Here's the new production pickups guys, these were developed by our long-time head of engineering and bass player Kevin Beller and are available in 4 & 5 string and 67/70 and 70/74mm for the 5-string.

Cool interview with Kevin. He's always been the "behind the scenes" guy, but you can't underestimate his contribution to the design of all Seymour Duncan products, including passive and active pickups, amplifiers, D-TAR and stompboxes. Nice to see him getting his due.

Any hope of that design being offered in either EMG-35 or Bartolini narrow soapbar housings?

Nothing being discussed at the moment for production but Custom Shop will do it.

Any reason why they wouldn't fit in a MIM Jazz V?
(I remember issues with that specific model before, but I think the 2 sizes resolves it)

In the Facebook age, it is unwise to assume that potential customers can;

2) comprehend

Are these production versions of the formerly custom shop models?

Yes, production models of the Custom Shop ones, and should be great with any of our preamps.
