I know this is a Duncan Forum, but i TRUST this forum members opinion more than any other forum out there.

Long story short.
I have a thin body double cut 'project guitar'. (Ibanez GAX-70)

I already have a Bare Knuckle Mississippi Queen (bridge / A5 @ 7.7k).
Someone now wants to do a pick up exchange with me.
My active pick up for his BK Rebel Yell (also a bridge unit / A5 @ 14.4k).

Do you think this pick up combo can 'work' ?
BK Rebel Yell (bridge in bridge pos.) & BK Mississippi Queen (bridge unit in the NECK pos.) ?

personally I like using vintage output bridge pickups in the neck. The 59, a2p and pearly gates bridge are all pretty good in the neck with a hotter bridge. I would definitely give it a shot.

Bare knuckle fanatic here! Sounds like a great idea, vintage op bridges make great neck pickups generally speaking. Rebel yell is a great pup from what ive heard

Never used the Mississippi Queen but I think they ought to pair pretty well. Rebel Yell is a hot, juicy bridge, bright but not harsh. It should balance well with a strong P90-type neck pickup. Personally, I'm a big fan of P90 neck tone.

The Rebel Yell neck is a truly excellent pickup too, probably my favorite of the BKs I have. [EDIT- I know the RY neck isn't part of your deal. I'm just sayin' it's great.]
