Are all Celestion speakers made in China or just the V30?

I thought I would ask the well informed people here about this. I'm thinking of getting K100s and was just curious.

The 10" Greenback is made in the U.K., also some OEM Celestions for amp companies (like Mesa). And of course the Heritage series. The rest are made in the Chinese plant.

For what it is worth, Celestion uses the same parts, stamped from the same machines as the old UK versions. In some cases the same exact machine as it was moved from the UK plant to the Chinese plant. The failure rate is also much lower on the MIC speakers than the MIE.

the beautiful celestion "vintage" is made in the UK. before you consider the k100, check out the sound of the vintage. the celestion site has clips. i think they only come in marshall vintage cabinets (ie 1960AV/BV or 1936V).

they do only come in marshall cabs and they are the original vintage 30. they are brighter and less congested in the mid than some other vintage 30 variants. not all that similar to the k100 though
