Not this year. I haven't been the last few. Probably because the prior years I kept running in to the same snobby people in the booths. Drove me crazy. At most I usually hit the vendor booths.

Really? I met some cool people at the shows. Had drinks with the Rockett pedals guys and GMD. Lots of groovy players and tons of cool gear. I dig it.

I might go for a few hours. I'm not a huge a fan of the Arlington show, though. I wish I was ... it is much more convenient for me than Dallas.

Like I said, the vendors are cool. But the private sellers and some of the shops just get all snotty, not really trying to sell but show off what they have. It's not all, but it's not hard to pick them out either. Some of the coolest are the guys and gals from Charley's and I always have a good conversation with RG from Visual Sound and even Robert Keeley.

I wanted to go so bad, but I couldn't this year. My best friends that own the local shop went though.
