Arlo Cocked Wah Mod?

Hot on the quest for Tele mods, I'm now debating possibly an Esquire build. I've seen a mod called the Arlo cocked wah that is just a tweaking of the electrical circuit for the original dark setting on an Esquire. It's got a 0.005 uF treble cut (really subtle) and a 0.01 uF cap in series with a 3k3 resistor for a bass cut (really subtle). The treble cut also shifts the resonant peak allegedly due to not having a pot in the way.

Has anyone here tried this?

I'm a fan of the original Esquire circuit, so I haven't bothered with the Arlo or the other two tweaks people do. There's actually 3 versions of the original Fender 'dark' circuit. IME the Esquire one was the best. It leaked a little treble so you could hear the scratch of the pick on the strings, and if you strum up by the neck, it made an Esquire/Tele sound like an archtop acoustic.
