Years ago I had an ART RulesBreaker amp which I loved to death. Some dirtbag stle it out of my car one night which led to a frantic search for another one, which I was able to locate. However, this one had problems.

Knowing I wasn't going to be able to find another one around I snapped up the rack-mount non-amplified version of this amp, the DST-4.

It's an amazing sounding unit. While it is one of the early modeling units it does have a tube in it and it is, by far, better sounding than the Line 6 gear I've used over the years (I had a Flextone amp and a Spider amp not too long ago). The effects are just head and shoulders above anything else I've seen and the models really manage to catch the character of the amps.

It's MIDI-compatible and can be used as a pre-amp or just as an effects unit. I liked this because you could get VERY deep with it in configuration but also just plug it in, give a very logical tweak to the knobs in front, and go.

It has been in my posession for a few years now. It's in great condition and I have the original manual for it as well. I'm not selling it because I don't like it but it's just not the kind of music I'm playing anymore. I'm much more of a Fender combo amp kinda guy....which is a tragedy I never foresaw when I got this!

I paid around $130 for this. I'll take $100.
