Article on vintage 59 LP wiring

Hey guys! I came across this article. Tell me what you think. The author seem to dislike modern wiring. And what does a vintage 59 LP sound like anyway? Does this guy have a point are is it all BS?

I wire all my Les Pauls '50s style as well.

The difference is quite large, especially if you are using the tone/volume knobs.

I came across that article earlier this week. I just wired my lp to the pre 60's method, and haven't had enough time to figure out the difference. I changed a few other things at the same time so that has an influence on what I hear, but I do like the overall difference. Maybe someone with better ears can point out what the wiring scheme does to the sound.
