B+M on HSS......split to which side of HB?

When splitting the bridge HB on a HSS guitar, which coil does it make the most sense to split to for the most authentic quack sound with B+M?

On this guitar, I have tried the inner (neck side) coil. Also, have tried parallel. Definitely prefer split over parallel and getting ready to rewire. But was wondering if I should try splitting to the bridge side coil?

Comparing to a traditional SSS setup, it seems that's in a more accurate location. But just wondering your experiences? Thanks.

Try both and see what you like. You can also rotate the bridge pickup yielding a total of 4 possible combinations.

I think the bridge side coil sounds better with the middle pickup, but alone, I like the neck side coil.
