Back with a new toy

I don't have much time these days, work is crazy, but I put together this little heavy riff I fool around with to show you how the VF-1's distortion sounds (5150 patch in this case)... and I probably still can tweak in even better. I'm not much of a tweaker, but with a good unit like this, you have to take your time. And it's Drop D, so this is really not my typical self :)

And a little autowah wanking... ain't all wah lead sort of wanking? :D

Here it is...

THE CLIP

Enjoy and have a great weekend you all... I'll be working ALL freakin' weekend! :yell:

I know all about tweaking..I have a line 6...lol

Re: Back with a new toy

Thanks... yes, recorded straight out of the output left into the sound card... I also run it into a Behringer Ultra_G direct box with 4X12 cab sim when I want to use the stomp box sim of the VF-1 (mainly, boss DS-1 and turbo overdrive, both very nice, I may record a blues with the TurboO later on). These things requires heavy tweaking, but it worths the effort.

The VF-1 is said to have bad distortion models... this one's not bad but if I feel I can't do what I wish, I may buy a Line six product just for dist. Effects on the VF-1 are amazing.
