Bad news: Blackout Neck is dead

my blackout neck was working when i put it in,then it started to crackle and then there was no sound at all. not total silence but more like the signal went through a cold or loose solder joint.
I thought that it would be the soldering and redid everything. No change.
Thought it was the battery and redid the battery wire connection. No change
Thought it might be the pot so i soldered the bridge pup to the neck volume. pot is working flawlessly with the bridge pup. With this i also eliminated the possibilitie of the switch not working in the neck position, since i left the pot connected to the neck position of the switch.
After all this testing i can only conclude that something inside the pup is worng or something inside the lenght of isolated wires. i can't say where the problem is exactly but it definitely isn't in the rest of the wiring.
End of the line is that my Blackout neck( Phase II 7-string btw) is dead and i will return it since it's still under warranty.
I hope Thomann lets me retunr it for a new one without wanting me to return the whole set, but we will see
