Band in a Box?

Not having recording equipment really sux. To compensate and for practice I got myself Band-in-a-Box. LOL! This thing conjures up images of a keyboard player in some social club playing melodies and solos to computer generated backing for patrons! LOL! But before you laugh, keep in mind that its better than anything Aebersol ever did! Believe it or not it occasionally produces a jewel inspite of its algorythmic compositional methods. Check this one out!

Everything you hear is computer generated, including the solo. I thought I would post it to give you guys some idea of the styles that I'm shooting for.

I tell you what...the jazz combo stuff that you can get for band in a box...real books and etc actually sound fairly decent! good for practicing solos over difficult chord changes


Just don't use any of the presets that involve guitar...midi guitar sounds horrible :)
