Hey all...
i have 2 guitar.

Squier sss strat n a hh tele.
Looking to change the pickups in a form of upgrade.

For the strat i was looking at the artec
vintage pickups for the neck n mid for a clean glassy tone and get a hotter single coil humbucker bridge for the bon Jovi stuff (richie sambora tone)

For the tele im thinking of a warm and saturated tone with clarity when packed with marshall gain.

Any inputs?

+1 I was going to say the same thing - hit ebay and search around or the trading post on this site.

Also look for "Duncan Designed". I've never had a bad one. Musicians Friend sells a couple models new, and cheap.

Tonerider makes several tasty humbuckers. I have yet to try their single coil and bass guitar offerings.

I have a set of new Artec nickel-covered humbuckers I'll sell you for 30 bucks plus shipping.

I also have a used black DD HB-102N, which I think sounds way better than the Artec does.

As far as bridge humbuckers go, I have a high output Fender one that'd go well with the DD.

PM me if you're interested.

Bought an artec dual rail for my strat today at my local store. And was blown away. Though it lack a tad bit of low end as compared to hotrails. But def good nuf.

Now im left with the hh tele.

Looking for more of a.classic rock sound.
