Bartakes's Inn - remastered

Figured I'd clean things up and start a new thread for this dealio.

I incorporated y'all's advice, did a new intro (including pitch shifting down conan's voice, and adding some other patrons' voices - "they took him straight to the gallows!" and "I'll slit your throat!" - fun stuff; oh, and changed "lady" to "wench" as suggested), fixed some drum stuff, and mastered it a lot less hot (and hopefully more dynamic).

I don't think I can hone it in any further without major re-do's. The drums are EZD, and it's got its limitations.

Intro is way better, told you it was worth keeping in there, I think it adds a lot cos it's pretty cool.
Yeah, I dunno what else to say - I don't know enough about mastering or anything like that to comment on that aspect. The drums are a bit jarring between around 4:35 and 4:50 but that's all.
It sounds great, you did a really good job on this song.

thanks for checking out the redo, diocletian! the intro's actually my favorite part now!

yeah true mastering requires better gear than I have (and more trained ears than mine), so it's best when I lay off a bit in that arena. better to be a tad quiet than squashed, slammed, and ruined.

I'll check the drums in that part, but if I listen to the song much more I'll find myself in a straight jacket at Arkham Asylum babbling about Crom and wine.
