RTFM time, assuming that it still available to download.

I used to have a Nineties model with the bold pink and grey on black graphics. I vaguely recall having to unfasten something at one end of the case. I also recall the need to either back up the memory settings first or to run the unit on its PSU whilst the battery was renewed.

Thanx! The online manual really doesn't have any specifics on it.
I'd take it apart & have a look,but I have a hard time putting things back together...

It's probably not that hard to change, but you're going to have to take it apart. Hopefully it has a battery holder and you just change it out, although some units have a battery that is soldered in. Again, you're not going to know until you take it apart.
