BC Rich Kerry King Signiature Special V

K, I've always thought this guitar was a spiffy lookin one. Is it a good guitar??? I know that it has a wrap-around bridge, and BC Rich "Special" HB's (which I would replace with actual EMG's).

If anybody knows anything at all about this guitar (cons + pros), please lemme know!!!

Oh, and I forgot to mention: I am in the market for a new guitar and I want a shredderific guitar. I've kinda narrowed it down to this (if I find out if it's a good guitar), a DK2 Dinky or an Ibanez RG350DX.

I havent played the V that you are talking about, but I have played MANY BC Rich guitars. I have owned a bunch of them. They never let me down.

Hey!

Is this the one (see pic below)? If it is- YES I have one. It's a solid guitar with very good workmanship. I thought the wraparound bridge/tailpiece would be a big letdown before I bought it, but it actually works quite well. Same goes with the pups- I was thinking of swapping those out as well before I bought one, but they sound quite decent!

I can solidly recommend this guitar- I originally bought it just based on the looks, but it's really a versatile, highly playable axe. Feel free to ask me any questions- I'll be glad to help!

Yeh my friend who cannot play guitar who says he can bought one before christmas, i played it and even pluged it into a Kustom S/S amp, I thought the pickups sounded great and the cleans were really good ..The guitar itself seems pretty damn solid and felt great...Good guitar for shreding on,.... Only drawback, You cant sit very comfortably and play at the same time.

i'd go for it. i'd rather get an amber sunburst jackson kingV but that graphic looks awesome also =)

for shredderiffic purposes it's great.. ad if someone pisses you off you can rip their hearth out with that headstock
