Thinking of doing a Beefed Up Jazz bridge for my Strat build, any thoughts on this?
Custom shop, said 3-weeks,not bad.
Just alittle more output/mids/bass in black, trembucker.
Waiting on the specs.

Thanx, really clean with alittle bite to it!
Gonna put a regular jazz bridge in neck spot, try 250k or 500k pots to smooth it out.

Nice, mines mahogany body too, ebony neck.
Bet it sounds sweet!
What kind of music you play?

She does sound sweet. I basically just do pentatonic noodling to backing tracks. But I do have a few simple 4-part songs. Drum machine, bass, rhythm and lead.

A double thick mag will give you more output and bass. You could try UOA5 or A6 for a tad more mids without departing too far from the jazz voicing.

Yes, it would. A double thick mag also gives you a boost similar to about a 10 or 15% raise in the dcr. But it you want to spend $200 instead of a few bucks, then cool. :P

I say, just tell MJ what sound you are going for, and let her come up with the right magnet.

You have to call them if you want to hash out ideas. Call SD, dial for the operator and ask to talk to the custom shop. (805) 964-9610
