Bent baseplate leg

Is it safe to attempt to bend this back or not? Previous owner (actually factory worker, I suspect) tried to drill this in, messed up, tried to drill a new hole and then attached the pickup at an angle. I've already filled out the drill holes (see toothpicks), and I don't want to have to drill another incorrectly placed hole just to accommodate this pup.

I bent mine with some needle nose pliers
grip from the side and twist

You can grip from the end with regular pliers
Grab the tab with the hole drilled in
then hold the pickup firmly with other hand
Pull out ward to align the vertical part of the leg
then twist a bit to align the part wit the hole

It bends much easier than you think
Go slowly
If you over shoot and go back and forth
It will break off

Yeah, minimize any back and forth motion, as it will be easy to snap it off that way.
