best alnico II starter pup for bridge?

Guys -I think curiosity is getting the better of me -I still rate the 59B my favorite bridge pickup to date -and I am still committed to moderate /low output
vs high output-BUT I have still yet to hear alnico II magnets through my rig..

So what would be the best bridge one to start with for rock music in your esteemed opinions?

1)Pearly Gates
2)Alnico II
3)Seth Lover
4)Custom ,Custom
5)Phat Cat

or another variant such as magnet swap on the 59?

Not looking to spend on the custom shop-though I know it would be awesome

Alnico II IMO will be the best one to start with IMO. It is middle of the road between the brighter PG and the thicker Seth.

Since you already have a 59, I would magnet swap that though.

+1 Just put an A2 magnet in your 59b and see if you like it.

I'd say the Custom Custom for a hotter output EVH style early 80's tone or Seth Lover for the most stellar, inspiring, vintage '58 paf tone ever.

Everyone seems to love those two, including me.
