Best bridge pup for a Duncan Vintage Stack humbucker neck?

I've got a Tele knockoff and I installed a Duncan Vintage Stack humbucker in the neck position, but now the bridge pickup tone seems to harsh. Can someone suggest a pickup that will match well with the stack bucker... without being too overpowering?

(always hated the Tele neck pickups...they're just too weak and sometimes muddy compared to the bridge IMHO!)

Mostly play classic rock and blues. Thanks in advance, Steve

Are you going for a classic Tele sound, or something else? Is hum cancelling important? A Quarter Pound in the bridge will certainly balance well, but it will lose the twang and gain power and mids. A Hot Rails will work and balance well, but it won't sound like a Tele at all. A Lil 59 is a great choice for classic rock and blues, but sounds closer to a PAF than a Tele. As you make the pickup more powerful, you lose a lot of the high end. If you go with a more traditional Tele single coil, you might run into balance issues. It is possible, but the neck pickup might have to be lowered.
