Bill Lawrence L-500L in the bridge with a 330 pF or a 680 pF cap parallel to it. Or an XL without the capacitor. From www.billlawrence.com. Put the L500 R or C in the neck.

Custom, also the DD has good clairity too, a bit tighter too. The Megadrive in DMZ's line is good also. The X2N is nice, but with high gain, you don't really need it, and the bottom may or may not be enough for you guitar.

The full shred is also supposed to stay articulate under high gain. Don't have experience with the pickup though.
I find the '59 to stay pretty clear under distortion.

I HAVE A Bill lawrence l500 xl in the bridge of my strat, tuned in B, and the more distortion i DIAL in the pedal , the more clairty, punchy and clean/clear distortion it delivers to my tone
i have soundclips to prove it
