Best combination with an Invader Pickup?

So I'm seriously putting into considering putting a Seymour Duncan Invader Pickup into my Yamaha AES620, replacing the Ducan JB Model pickup at the bridge position. The double coiled pickup at the neck is a Yamaha custom, though I'm willing to part with it if there's a better pickup to put at the neck position.

As far as my musical interests go, I'm mostly into the pop/punk/rockish group, and I won't even touch 80's metal/rock music. Duncans give me that nice tone I've always liked =)

thanks in advance.

Well, if you want to match outputs, the best choice for you would be another Invader, but a neck model or maybe a Full Shred/neck. I myself like to use a lower output pickup for the neck/front end, and if you're like me, then you would choose a '59 or a Jazz or even a Phat Cat.

i would of thought the invader was more in the wrong direction for that kind of music, and a 59 or jb would be pretty much about perfect for it. the invaders a really high output pickup. hmm

I second the full shred neck. Nice combo with the invader. The Jackson Warrior USA comes stock with the invader/FS. If you have a dealer nearby that sells Jacksons you may want to check it out.
